The Sea Days CLE program not only provided free CLEs but also gave me the opportunity to instruct several classes on various topics. I booked the next cruise with this group while still on my first cruise. This is a unique and enjoyable way to receive free CLE credits.
Sea Day CLE is a collaborative project to provide quality continuing legal education in unique and fun locations and environments. It is a CLE program created, organized, and presented by lawyers for lawyers. Our purpose is to provide the platform to both play and learn - transporting your CLE classroom to one-in-a-lifetime destinations.
Sea Day CLE was formed in 2022 after the untimely and unexpected loss of our dear friend and Captain, Robert Stack (Cap’n Bob). Bob joyfully and successfully ran CLE on the High Seas to 7 different sailings over more than 10 years. Bob had been planning his once-in-a-lifetime cruise to Alaska for several years, and had booked several people on his Alaska CLE Cruise before COVID-delays. When Bob passed in 2021, rather than pack up and go home, the presenters for the CLE program got together to continue Bob’s legacy and continue the existing CLE program.
Sea Day CLE could not exist and function without the fabulous efforts of our travel agent, Alice Lambie and Sheila Lambie. Alice and Sheila have worked their magic year after year to get great cruise itineraries, coordinate all of the travel arrangements for participants, and secure unbeatable rates and promotions for past and current participants.
